Veroudering, systeemziekten en mondgezondheid: Implicaties voor vrouwen wereldwijd (Deel II)

Introduction
Introduction

This course highlights research related to women and stroke, rheumatoid arthritis and depression. Women have shown disproportionate outcomes from medical conditions in measures of diagnosis, prevalence, incidence as well as response to treatments. Their culture, education, and, most importantly, access to care have placed female populations worldwide at potential risk for adverse disease outcomes. (This is Part 2 of a 2-part series on women, aging and oral health. Part 1 is available in the dentalcare.com CE library.)
